Latest work: Observe

Never shying away from the gritty or the progressive, Observe: The Odgers Berndtson Global Magazine is one of those publications you can really get your teeth into – whether as a reader or a writer.

It’s a magazine that opens your mind to ideas, possibilities and perspectives, as well as uncomfortable truths, to keep businesses and their boardrooms fresh and dynamic.

Whenever I’m asked to contribute, I know that I’m about to embark on a challenge that will push me as a writer and thinker – and that was most certainly the case with the most recent issue.

Themed around talent and potential, this edition covers such diverse subjects as educating the next generation of leaders; identifying the best high-potential talent within a business; breaking down the boardroom barriers faced by the LGBTQ+ community; and the importance of a digitally relevant leadership model.

For my own piece, I looked at how three of the world’s biggest religious groups approach leadership recruitment, and the many considerations and sensitivities that surround the need for best practice within these institutions.

You can find it on p32 of the digital edition.
